Stevie Blacke Orchestra takes classic and modern songs and reimagines them with an orchestral flare. Utilizing the talents of various singers from around the world, SBO releases a new song every 4-6 weeks. Stevie Blacke (often referred to as "The Blacke Orchestra") is a highly acclaimed Los Angeles-based session musician, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist known for creating full string sections by himself for major artists. He plays over 20 stringed instruments, including violin, cello, sitar, and mandolin, contributing literally thousands of songs for the top artists including Pink, Madonna, Rihanna, Timbaland with Elton John, Avenged Sevenfold, Miley Cyru

Steely Dan's "FM (No Static at All)"

This instrumental cover showcases Stevie’s unique ability to build an entire production and orchestral arrangement single-handedly. In this rendition, you can hear him layering mandolin, mandola & mandocello replacing the sax and piano in the the original while adding a bright, intricate texture to the song's jazz-rock foundation. He's also playing all the instruments in the string section while the vocal melody becomes lap steel. He finishes it off playing bass, and drums.
